Getting connected (or lack of same)

We're not having much luck getting WIFI access yet so I can't easily upload any of the cool photos I have taken. We stopped here on our way to a cooking class in the Trastevere neighborhood across the Tiber from the historic center of Rome.

Our apartment is indeed like living on a boat in the middle of Rome, as the owner had described it. Very compact and not for those taller than about 5 ft 9. But it's just two blocks from the Campo de' Fiori so no complaints here.

Had outstanding pizza last night at Taverna Le Coppelle followed by outstanding gelato at Giolitti, recommended by our waitress.

Rome continues to be all we had hoped for. The weather has been great for the most part, with a few showers.

I hope to get WIFI access so I can use our netbook to do another update, hopefully with a few pictures, and with a review of the cooking class. (We will be cooking and eating a four course meal, including handmade pasta.)

Gotta go. The class awaits and the cigarette smoke in here is getting to me. :-) A presto.
