Celebrity sighting

Who should we run into this morning in a caffe bar off the Piazza Farnese but the man himself? Rick Steves and two of his crew. We chatted a little, talking about how useful we continue to find his books, even on this our third visit to Italy. They've been in Italy (or maybe Europe) for five weeks, working 12 hours days, filming new segments. Mamma mia! I'll post more later about our other activities today, but just had to do this little report.

    Rick's TV program caused me to put the Cinque Terra on my list of places to go before I die. (I'm working on it...)

    Oh, and did you compare his packing of HIS Rick Steves bag with YOUR packing? I've often wondered how he does it (and if he does it, what with five week stays in a country, and all....)
