Why do we keep coming back to Venice?

(The internet gods are smiling and John is taking a nap, so time to blog.)

It's our fourth time here in Venice. Here's the view out of our windows in a charming B&B called Casa Rezzonico in the Dorsoduro neighborhood:

To the left we have this church belltower. They really do ring them, sometimes playing tunes. I'm hoping for something by Lady Gaga:

GROM is a chain that sells artisanal gelato in Italy so good you'd sell your mother for it (if Mother's Day weren't coming up soon).

And all of those except the last one were taken within maybe 200 feet of our B&B. Gotta run. More later.
